about me

Being a Libran Lynne always strives to deliver a perfectly balanced dub!

Lynne took an interest in the audio world from an early age, though she no longer uses her early techniques. (Chewing her father's microphone and leaving a dent in it at the age of two!)

After many years of playing the saxophone, piano and cello, Lynne left the University of East Anglia with a BA (Hons) in Music and a passion to work with music and sound in film and television.

She was soon successful in gaining an apprenticeship in the dubbing department at Yorkshire Television and the rest as they say is history! Learning her trade from the bottom up Lynne soon learnt all the aspects of becoming a highly successful dubbing mixer and editor. Oh and how to make a great cup of tea! She is technically adept at working the DFC Gemini, Logic 2 and 3 desks, Pro Tools with any Digidesign desk, Pyramix, Logic Pro, Audiofile 11-27, S and SC and the Mackie Universal.

Now with over ten years experience in TV dramas, documentaries, short films and commercials, Lynne can boast a client list of the BBC, ITV, Channel Four, Channel 5, Rollem, Coastal, Kindle, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Mammoth Screen and Lime Pictures.

The many hit shows that she has worked on include A Touch of Frost, Monroe, Heartbeat, The Royal, The Chase, Fat Friends, Where The Heart Is and Wire In The Blood.

Lynne was nominated for Best Sound by The Royal Television Society in 2006 for Ghostboat and was a winner of the Team Craft award for her work on The Royal Today in 2008.

Lynne is a dynamic Dubbing Mixer/Editor who loves to work with passionate and creative individuals. Her professional and amiable style allows clients to feel relaxed and able to experiment to produce a creative mix and thoroughly understands the flexibility needed to work in the modern post-production environment.

But don't just take her word for it take a look at her references and decide for yourself.
